Incarcerated women in Burkina Faso
This year, we partnered with the MACO Correctional Facility in Burkina Faso, to offer a group of fifteen women free cloth weaving classes. Cloth-weaving is an in-demand, income generating trade in Burkina Faso, which will allow these women to begin their own businesses upon their release. Caritas Revolution provided the materials, the class structure, and the implementation of these classes. After overwhelming positive feedback, we are confident these classes will have a lasting impact in the lives of incarcerated women.
